Duroblade® and durorod™ for paper and board applications

The Duroblade-XC series of high-performance blades for paper and board coating is both an evolution and an enhancement of the well-known Duroblade, the original ceramic blade released in 1986.

Duroblade-XC features an additional treatment of the ceramic tip that not only increases wear-resistance and blade life but also contributes to enhanced color flow under the blade tip.

Clear advantages, such as a more stable coating operation and improved coating quality, have been found in practically all paper grades and both in bent and stiff blade operations.
